Sherpa
Sherpa
Sherpa is one of Australia’s largest independent same-day delivery networks, serving thousands of businesses across the country. I was brought in to enhance the platform’s frontend experience, improve performance, and implement scalable UI components that better align with their growing operational needs.

Sherpa
The Sherpa platform operates at a high volume, with real-time data, complex logistics workflows, and an extensive marketplace of delivery solutions. My role was to support the engineering and product team by rebuilding key UX flows, modernizing sections of the site, and creating reusable UI patterns that work seamlessly with their existing system.
I worked closely with design teams and stakeholders to deliver clean, efficient, mobile-optimized interfaces that help users navigate delivery management, self-serve dashboards, and service comparison flows.
THE STORY
Sherpa needed a refreshed online experience to match its evolving business model after merging with Drive Yello. I was involved in implementing key parts of their updated website and product interface — including layout restructuring, component-based UI development, and integrations that improved navigation and engagement. I worked on transforming static design ideas into fully functional, interactive UI components and optimizing layouts for large traffic spikes typical of logistics platforms. The goal was to help Sherpa communicate its suite of delivery solutions more clearly while ensuring the platform remained fast, stable, and easy to use.
APPROACH
I adopted a modular, reuse-driven development approach to keep the UI lightweight and maintainable. I restructured major sections — such as delivery management, service explanations, and onboarding screens — into responsive components built for performance and clarity. I focused on front-end architecture that worked smoothly with Sherpa’s backend and analytics systems, ensuring clean rendering, optimized asset loading, and seamless interactions. The emphasis was on delivering a polished, enterprise-grade experience that could scale with future feature expansions.
